The dsPipe is a special spreadsheet function supplied by Deriscope that all it does is returning its input unaltered.

Visit the
Deriscope Excel Functions for practical tips on how to generate demos of this and the other Deriscope functions on the spreadsheet.

It takes exactly one argument and has the following form:

=dsPipe( arg )

The argument arg can be anything.
Most typically, arg will be some non-Deriscope spreadsheet function.
If, for example, the input argument is the Excel built-in function RANDBETWEEN(0,100), then the final formula will have the form =dsPipe(RANDBETWEEN(0,100))
The effect will be that the output of the RANDBETWEEN function will be displayed in the cell along with the usual flashing format that characterizes the output of all Deriscope functions.
