The

*dsSubRange*Visit the Deriscope Excel Functions for practical tips on how to generate demos of this and the other Deriscope functions on the spreadsheet.

It takes up to 5 arguments and has the following form:

*=dsReplace( source, [fromRow], [toRow], [fromColumn], [toColumn] )*The arguments are as follows:

**The range supplying the original data.**

*source:***Optional integer (default = 1) that identifies the row in the source range that should appear as the top row of the output data. 1 corresponds to the top row of the source range.**

*fromRow:***Optional integer (default = 0) that identifies the row in the source range that should appear as the bottom row of the output data. If less than fromRow, the last row of the source range is assumed.**

*toRow:***Optional integer (default = 1) that identifies the column in the source range that should appear as the leftmost column of the output data. 1 corresponds to the leftmost column of the source range.**

*fromColumn:***Optional integer (default = 0) that identifies the column in the source range that should appear as the rightmost column of the output data. If less than fromColumn, the last column of the source range is assumed.**
